Jeannette Jacqueline Lucejko is researcher at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry of the University of Pisa. She received her PhD in Chemical Sciences in 2010 from the University of Pisa. Her research activity mainly concerns the development of analytical procedures based on pyrolysis, chromatography and mass spectrometry for the study and the characterisation of archaeological waterlogged wood. In particular, she is interested in the identification of the type of deterioration (chemical changes) occurring in wood and lignin, in waterlogged wooden artefacts, and how these processes impact on the wood conservation.
